STUDENT 1: Some of the strategies I have used are studying as early as possible, looking at my syllabus, checking all of my e-mail, staying on top of my own workload, and making sure that I am certain of what's going to be in the next test. if I have a questions, I ask my instructor as soon as possible, so I know exactly what to expect.
STUDENT 2: I try not to study with other people around when I'm at home. If they're home, then I realized that it's going to be a challenge to do that. I'll be torn between two responsibilities. So I schedule my studying for when they're not there, or when they are in bed later. So if I can attend to them, I'm distracted. And then when it's time for me to do homework or studying, I can attend to that undistracted.
I have to stay up late and get up early to get my work done. Prior to coming to school, I could wing it. I could juggle the husband, the kids, and the work. But now I find I have to plan. I have to stick to a schedule. I have to do it by the calendar.
