-I don't think it's ever been this slow at the Jerky Burger. You know what, I'm going to ask for the afternoon off and go to the Career Center. They're holding like mock interviews.

-Mock interviews?

-Yeah. It's like pretend interviews where they videotape you, and then they review how you did. It can really help? You want to come?

-I don't know man, I'm just sort of chillin right now.

-Oh come on. You spent so much time figuring out where you were going to study abroad.

-Yeah, but that was France not the real world.

-Well, this can help your career. Do you want to stay at the Jerky Burger all your life? C'mon, it can help. Please, I don't want to go by myself.

-OK fine, I'll go with you.

-Good. You need it.

-Hi Brenda. Just so you know the tape is rolling, but it's just for you and your career counselor to review it at a later time.

-OK

-OK let's start. What do you think your greatest strength is? Well I'm in the food industry right now, and I'm interested in a career in business. And I think that I'm learning a lot about customer service, because I think it's important to know what service means to people.

-What do you think your greatest weakness is?

-Well I'm a perfectionist. I just need to learn how to let go.

-Do you speak any foreign languages?

-Is that important? I didn't know that you needed that for a job.

[SIGH]

-No.

-Hi Steph. OK Just so you know the tape is rolling, but it's just for you and your career counselor to review at a later time OK OK Let's go. What do you think your greatest strength is?

-Ah well I haven't poisoned anyone at the Jerky Burger yet, so that's good. Hmm I'm usually on time, like half, two thirds. Ahhh Oh I'm the master of the deep frier.

-What do you think your greatest weakness is?

-Getting up in the morning, like actually hearing the alarm go off.

-Do you speak any foreign languages?

-Actually yes. I studied abroad in France last semester. I'm almost fluent now.

-Great.
