Proximity: Analyze

Placed underneath the book's title are the names of the book's editors. You can tell that the titles and names are related because they appear close to each other. The tan line in which the author names are presented also groups these names together. At the same time, the information that appears below the tan line—the publisher and table of contents—uses the same color scheme as the grouping of the authors' names, which is an additional technique used to create a grouping. The title and authors are grouped by physical proximity on the page, and the authors, publisher, and table of contents are grouped by proximity of color.
