Explain
For a book that combines text and illustrations, begin your citation with the person you wish to emphasize (writer, illustrator, artist). List any other contributors after the title of the book.
Use the abbreviation “illus.” and other common labels to identify contributors.
If the writer and illustrator are the same person, cite the work as you would a book, with no labels (as in the third example).
