Article (basic format)

For most articles, arrange the information into four units, each followed by a period and one space:

  1. the author’s name

  2. the title of the article

  3. publication information (journal, volume, date, pages)

  4. medium

Explain

  • Consult Guidelines for listing authors if the article has no author or more than one author.

  • For articles appearing on consecutive pages, provide the range of pages: 10-15; 156-60; 395-406.

  • When an article does not appear on consecutive pages, give the number of the first page followed by a plus sign: 32+.
