  • Begin with the writer or producer of the podcast; the date the podcast was produced or posted; and the title.

  • Give identifying information about the podcast, such as a number, in parentheses following the title.

  • Add a descriptive label, such as “Audio podcast” or “Video podcast,” in brackets.

  • Give the series title, in italics, for a podcast that is an episode in a series.

  • End with a retrieval statement and the URL.

  • If the podcast is on a university or government site, give information about the site before the URL.

Note on breaking URLs and DOIs

  • If you must break a URL or a DOI at the end of a line, break it after a double slash or before any other mark of punctuation.

  • Do not add a hyphen.

  • Do not put a period at the end of the entry.
