#em#we#/em# or #em#us#/em# before a noun

When deciding whether we or us should precede a noun, choose the pronoun that would be appropriate if the noun were omitted.

Example sentence with editing. Original sentence: Us tenants would rather fight than move. Revised sentence: We tenants would rather fight than move.

Test: We would rather fight (not Us would rather fight); shortchanging us (not shortchanging we).
