ESL: Adjectives and plural nouns

In English, adjectives are not made plural when they modify a plural noun.

Example sentence with editing. Original sentence: The reds roses were a wonderful surprise. Revised sentence: The red roses were a wonderful surprise. Explanation: The word "reds" has been replaced by "red."
