  • Begin the note with the sponsor of the Facebook page.
  • Include up to 160 characters of the text of the post, the name of the site (Facebook), the date of the post, and the URL for the post or the Facebook page.
  • Facebook posts are not included in the bibliography.

Note on breaking URLs and DOIs

  • If you must break a URL or a DOI at the end of a line, break it after a colon or a double slash or before any other mark of punctuation.
  • Do not add a hyphen.
  • Do not put a period at the end of the entry.
