6:00 p.m. (or 6:00 PM)
No. 12 (or no. 12)
$150, £300, ¥800
Avoid using these abbreviations when they are not accompanied by a specific figure.
When not using a.m. or p.m., write out the time in words (four o’clock in the afternoon, twelve noon, seven in the morning).
