Presenting your reflective letter

You may have some flexibility in how you present a reflective piece for your portfolio. Some instructors require a formal essay; others may ask for a letter.

If you present your reflective piece as a traditional written text, your instructor may expect your work to follow a particular formatting style.

If you are submitting an e-portfolio, you may have the opportunity to present your reflective letter in the form of a multimodal text such as an audio essay, a video, or a slide show presentation. Consider how adding images or sound might strengthen your work. For a presentation, you might use headings to facilitate navigation.
