- If you cite material from more than one volume of a multivolume work, include the total number of volumes in your works cited entry, as in the first example.
- If the volumes were published over several years, give the inclusive dates of publication.
- If you cite only one of the volumes in your paper, include the volume number before the publisher and give the date of publication for that volume, as in the second example. After the date, give the total number of volumes.
