Explain

  • Give publication information as for an article in a print journal, including page numbers, if they are available.
  • End with the DOI (digital object identifier), if the article has one. Do not use a period at the end of the entry.
  • If the article does not have a DOI, give the URL for the home page of the journal.

Note on breaking URLs and DOIs

  • If you must break a URL or a DOI at the end of a line, break it after a double slash or before any other mark of punctuation.
  • Do not add a hyphen.
  • Do not put a period at the end of the entry.
