Visiting your school’s writing center—on campus or online

If you would like feedback on your writing beyond the peer review offered in your course, consider visiting your school’s writing center. If you live close to your campus, make an effort to visit the center in person. If you can’t go to the campus for an appointment with a writing tutor, find out whether the writing center offers any online assistance. Some schools have online writing labs (OWLs) with staff specifically trained to meet the needs of online learners. Visit your school’s Web site for information.
