Review the advice for drafting an analytical thesis statement for an image or a multimodal text. Exchange a current draft with a classmate. Examine the thesis statement in your classmate’s draft. Is your classmate offering a judgment of the text that he or she is writing about? Or merely presenting a summary? Write brief notes for your classmate, offering a revision suggestion or two.
