Exchange a draft of an analysis with a classmate. Refer to the guidelines for balancing summary and analysis for a written text or a multimodal text. Is your classmate offering a judgment, an analysis, of the text that he or she is writing about or merely presenting a summary? Does your classmate need to summarize less and analyze more?
