Explain

An anthology is a collection of works on a common theme, often with different authors for the selections and usually with an editor for the entire volume.

  • Begin with the author of the selection or chapter, the year of publication, and the title of the selection or chapter.
  • Then write “In” and give the name(s) of the editor(s), followed by “Ed.” for one editor or “Eds.” for more than one in parentheses.
  • Give the title of the book and, in parentheses following the title, the page numbers on which the selection or chapter appears.
  • End with the place and publisher.
