- If each volume has its own title, give the volume title first, followed by the volume number and the title of the entire work, as in the example.
- If the volumes do not have individual titles, give the title of the complete work following the author’s name. In the note, give the volume and page number after the publication information: (New York: Holt, 2012), 2:314. In the bibliography, give the total number of volumes after the title: . . . Title. 2 vols.
