- In both the note and the bibliography, italicize the journal title. Give the volume and issue numbers if the journal has both. Use the abbreviation “no.” before the issue number: History of Religions 38, no. 2. Add the year in parentheses:
- For a note, give the page number you are citing. For the bibliography, give the range of pages for the article.
