  • In the note, give the author’s name in normal order—first name followed by middle and last names—and add a comma. Then give the article’s title in quotation marks.
  • In the bibliography, invert the author’s name—last name first, followed by a comma and the first and middle names—and add a period. Then give the article’s title in quotation marks.
  • In both the note and the bibliography, italicize the newspaper title, followed by a comma and the month, day, and year.
  • Page numbers are not necessary; a section letter or number, if available, is sufficient.
