One of the steps in publicizing your website is to register it with search engines. But this can be a little more complicated than it seems. Some search engines charge you a fee to make your site show up near the top of the search results. Study one of the popular search engines, such as Google or Bing, to learn its policies. Is it easy to find out the policy on site registration? Is the policy clear? Does it seem forthright and ethical? Be prepared to share your findings with the class.
