10.2 Intakes

Watch the tutorial video below to learn how to find and track your food in AnalyzeMyDiet.

After you’ve watched the video, record the following foods in AnalyzeMyDiet as though it were part of your diet. Record each food separately, rather than trying to enter the entire meal as one item. Then answer the questions.

Breakfast:

  • 2 large poached eggs (USDA)
  • 2 slices of hardwood smoked bacon (Oscar Mayer)
  • 2 slices of whole wheat bread (USDA)

NOTE: “Default unit” and “default amount” in this tutorial refers to a unit of measure for servings (such as each, gram, ounce, cup) and quantity that will automatically be chosen for the user by the AnalyzeMyDiet program. For example, if you record a banana for breakfast, the default unit for a banana is EACH and the default amount is 1. A cup of coffee is measured in cups, so the default unit and amount will be 1 cup of coffee. Units and amounts can be changed when recording foods.
