Marjorie Sandor 1

MARJORIE SANDOR: Well, I think as a younger writer, I wrote when I felt like it and in very quick bursts. And then I would stop for long periods of time. I didn't have very regular habits. But as life has gotten more complicated with a full-time job and a child and lots of responsibilities, I've found that the only way I'm really going to manage is to get up very early in the morning and give it a good couple of hours. I think that's about where I hit my limit, is at about 2 hours. But if I don't do it every day and stick with the project, things sort of fall apart, so I have to really stay on it.
