As we noted earlier, conflict cannot always be resolved. But every conflict does, eventually, have an outcome. Regardless of how they engage in it, the conflict between twins Leslie and Kathy will produce some result: one or the other sister may get the pie, the two might share the pie, or neither might get any pie at all.1 Conflict outcomes fall into several categories.
