Copying and Pasting

You can save text from relevant sources as notes in a word-processing document. Be sure to keep track of source information, such as the URL and the date you viewed a source, so that you can return to it if necessary and cite it appropriately. You can also use Web clipping tools, which work with your browser as toolbars or “add-ons” (a term used for programs that work within browsers) to copy all or part of a Web page. Leading, no-fee Web capture tools include Evernote (http://www.evernote.com), Diigo (www.diigo.com), and Zotero (www.zotero.org).
