Interviews allow you to gather information about your subject from people who can provide firsthand accounts of events, authoritative interpretations of an issue, and reflections about their personal experiences. Interviews can be conducted in a face-to-face setting, on the telephone, or online — via e-mail, instant messaging, or Web cam.
