Put Your Page Online

If you’ve created your page using a tool such as Google Sites, your page is already online. If you’ve used Dreamweaver or a word-processing program, you will need to add your page and any associated media files to your Web site. You will find guidance, usually in the form of help pages, from the Web site provider that is hosting your site.

Once your page is online, test it. Make sure that the page opens and displays properly, that links work, and that media elements open properly on different computers and devices. If you are satisfied with the results of your work, share the URL with the people you want to view your page. In a few days, you’ll also find that it will be available through search sites such as Google and Bing.
