APA SOURCE MAP: Works from Web Sites

image Author. If one is given, include the author’s name (see models 1–5). List last names first, and use only initials for first names. The site’s sponsor may be the author. If no author is identified, begin the citation with the title of the document.

image Publication date. Enclose the date of publication or latest update in parentheses. Use n.d. (“no date”) when no publication date is available.

image Title of work. Capitalize only the first word of the title and subtitle and any proper nouns or proper adjectives.

image Title of Web site. Italicize the title. Capitalize all major words.

image Retrieval information. Write Retrieved from and include the URL. If the work seems likely to be updated, include the retrieval date.
