Bloom identified six levels of learning, as represented in Figure 5.1. The higher the level, the more critical thinking it requires. Bloom’s taxonomy is used in developing curricula, textbooks, learning management systems, and other academic work. You have been using the levels of Bloom’s taxonomy throughout your education, perhaps without being aware of it.
