Obtaining employment takes drive and determination; employers will rarely approach you to offer jobs, so you will likely have to seek the positions you desire. Complete this activity to learn more about how to access job postings and prepare yourself to meet the specific needs of employers. That way, you can enter your field with a competitive advantage.

EXAMPLE: For my job search, I looked for teaching positions in Nashville, Tennessee. My search helped me identify positions of interest at these three companies: Nashville Charter Schools, Rocketship Public Schools, and RePublic Schools.
