This example illustrates how relative humidity changes from late afternoon to early morning. (B) Relative humidity is highest just as the Sun rises in the morning, when the air temperature is lowest. Note that in this example the water vapor content of the air is not changing. Only the air’s capacity for water vapor is changing.
