Planning for Large Class Assignments
If you break down large, complex class assignments into smaller chunks and distribute the workload over the course of a term, they’ll seem much more manageable. Review the table below and create your own project plan for a big, complicated assignment you’ll need to complete this term.
Be sure to record the name of the project, the date that it’s due, and a goal statement for the assignment. Then list your action steps, the estimated time required for each, and the deadlines that you’ve set for yourself.
Once you’ve started using the project plan, respond to the following questions: How is this tool working for you? Has it helped you track your progress and complete your assignment on time? Why or why not?
