List the author(s) first, and then include the article title, the journal title (in italics), the volume number, the issue number, the publication date, and the page numbers.

Follow the format for scholarly journals (as shown in item 20), but list only the issue number before the date of publication.

Include the date of publication rather than volume and issue numbers. If page numbers are not consecutive, add “+” after the initial page.

If a specific edition is listed on the newspaper’s masthead, such as “Late Edition” or “National Edition,” include this edition before the date. If page numbers are not consecutive, add “+” after the initial page.

For a newspaper editorial, do not include an author, but do include the label “Editorial,” followed by a period, at the end of the entry.
