Finding the clone of interest by using antibody

To find the clone of interest, an expression library made with special phage λ vector called λgt11 is screened with a protein-specific antibody. After the unbound antibodies have been washed off the membrane, the bound antibodies are visualized through the binding of a radioactive secondary antibody.
