Baumgartner: At the end of the day-- and I tell students this-- I'm going to be evaluating your paper at least as much on the clarity of the writing, on the writing itself than on the analysis. Now, if you give me a crappy analysis, very well-written, you're not going to get a good grade. If it's a mediocre analysis, very well-written, clear, well-presented you're going to get a good grade. That's my answer.

Morris: Yeah. I would say make a case. But then whatever the argument's going to be-- theoretical or a research question-- whatever's thrown out there to open the door in terms of writing something, what's the supporting evidence?
