Budweiser, a heavy spender on ads during the Super Bowl and throughout the year, came under fire in 2015 for advertising on a Bud Light bottle calling it “the perfect beer for removing ‘no’ from your vocabulary”—a tagline that, as many pointed out, carried connotations of coercion, ignoring consequences of actions, and even sexual assault.
