Thank you for choosing LaunchPad Solo for Readers and Writers. We want you and your students to have an excellent experience. The resources below will help you get started.

Activate

To activate your course so students can enroll, please consult these resources:

Reference the Get Started advice from the Instructor’s Manual
After you click on the “Activate your course” link at the top of the screen, check your e-mail for the course activation information to share with students.
Distribute First Day of Class Materials.

Locate

You can locate relevant materials by

Viewing a LaunchPad unit

Selecting “Resources” to search or browse contents

Assign

LaunchPad Solo for Readers and Writers works whether you want to make assignments for the whole class or just for individual students. You can assign the full unit or, for instance, just the LearningCurve activity. Please be aware that pre-tests, post-tests, and activities that appear in resources will only be available to students if you assign them. Students can access LearningCurve without it being assigned.

Debrief

LaunchPad Solo for Readers and Writers can tell you a lot about students’ skill mastery. By talking with students about the trends you see in their results, you’ll affirm their online practice and have a better sense of their strengths and weaknesses.
