Tragic Outcome Viewing Amanda Todd’s famous YouTube video is heartrending. Todd was just 15 years old when she took her own life, a tragedy many people believe resulted from years of being bullied and harassed online and at school (Shaw, 2013, March 13). Most of the abuse Todd suffered took the form of relational aggression, a type of aggression that is not physical but extremely hurtful (Archer & Coyne, 2005). The ongoing threats, rumors, and gossip drove her to become anxious, depressed, and eventually suicidal (Shaw, 2013, March 13).
