Chapter 12, Additional Exercise 7: Creating a Diagram of a Concept

In two or three sentences, define an audience and a purpose, and then draw an appropriate diagram illustrating a concept, such as the effects of smoking or the advantages of belonging to the student chapter of a professional organization. For instance, for the effects of smoking, the audience might be junior-high students, and the purpose might be to help them make an intelligent choice about whether to smoke. Be prepared to share your diagram with the class.
