00:02 [TITLE] Norming

00:06 [From left to right, DAVID, ADA, EMILY, and JASON sit in a semicircle on chairs] JASON: So how are we coming along with the band?

00:07 DAVID: Look, I talked to the lead singer and they may have another gig that night.

00:11 ALL: Oh, no!

00:12 DAVID: We can't… we can't… we have to get a backup for this.

00:14 [BIANCA enters and takes a seat next to JASON.] BIANCA: Hey, guys, sorry!

00:16 EMILY: Hey, Bianca.

00:16 BIANCA: Traffic.

00:18 JASON: This is the second time in a row. We need you here, or we'll have to replace you.

00:20 BIANCA: [defensively] There was traffic.

00:23 JASON: Okay, okay. It's all right, guys. Let's focus.

00:24 EMILY: Yeah, we need to focus.

00:26 ADA: So, the band. They're not going to be able to do it?

00:28 DAVID: I'm going to call her tonight, all right? I'll call her tonight. It's all I can do!

00:30 JASON: I need a definite by twelve o'clock tomorrow or we have to change the bands. That's it.

00:34 DAVID: I'm going to do what I can.

00:35 JASON: How are we coming along with the library?

00:37 EMILY: I think everything's set. I have somebody cleaning --

00:39 JASON: Perfect.

00:40 EMILY: -- the day before. And then --

00:41 JASON: Perfect, perfect.

00:42 ADA: Oh, I meant to ask you. Have the posters been sent out yet with all the auction items listed? Because my husband thinks he might want to make a little bit of a change. [Everyone looks frustrated.] I know we're supposed to be doing a French theme, but he's --

00:52 EMILY: We've already sent them out, right?

00:52 JASON: The deadline was yesterday.

00:55 ADA: I know, I know, but I talked to him last night. He's been busy.

00:58 [simultaneous with JASON's line below] BIANCA: I like the Italian theme.

00:58 [simultaenous with BIANCA's line above] JASON: You know, I haven't sent them out yet.

01:00 [simultaneous with JASON's line below] ADA: I just think Italian would be better.

01:00 [simultaneous with ADA's line above] JASON: I can redo it for you, but there's no more changes. After today there's no more changes.

01:02 ADA: I think it makes sense! I think people like Italian food.

01:04 BIANCA: I think Italian would be better.

01:05 EMILY: People would probably be more comfortable with that.

01:06 JASON: Okay, it's agreed upon, it's agreed upon. Okay, guys, so… pressure, pressure, pressure. It's a week away.

01:12 EMILY: Oh my gosh.

01:12 JASON: We've got to get this stuff together, all right?

01:13 DAVID: All right.

01:14 ADA: All right.

01:14 JASON: All righty?

01:15 DAVID: I'm on it.

01:16 JASON: We're on this?

01:16 EMILY: Yes.

01:17 JASON: Put it in, put it in, put it in, put it in, put it in.

01:19 [Everyone puts a hand into the center of the semi-circle.] JASON: Okay.

01:20 [Everyone releases hands upwards.] ALL: Woo!
