NEEDS IMPROVEMENT Methods of delivery: Over-reliance on notecards in extemporaneous speaking

Can you imagine driving down the road, and you're sending a text message to one of your friends, when you look up and realize you've just hit something? You stop, get out of the car, and realize it wasn't just something—it was a little boy who was riding around on his bike, and you happened not to see him because you were too busy in your conversation and texting with your friend. That little boy is now dead because you were too busy in your conversation and not paying attention to the road or surroundings in front of you.
