Reports and Long Works from Web Sites
Author. If one is given, include the author’s name (see models 1–9). List last names first, and use only initials for first names. The site’s sponsor may be the author. If no author is identified, begin the citation with the title of the document.
Publication date. Enclose the date of publication or latest update in parentheses. Use n.d. (“no date”) when no publication date is available.
Title of work. Italicize the title. Capitalize only the first word of the title and subtitle and any proper nouns or proper adjectives.
Retrieval information. Write Retrieved from and include the URL. For a report from an organization’s Web site, identify the organization in the retrieval statement. (The APA uses website, one word, not capitalized.) If the work seems likely to be updated, include the retrieval date. If you need to break a long URL in the retrieval statement, do so before a punctuation mark.
