Proofreading your work

As you write: Proofreading your work

Using the proofreading tips in section C3-d, read your draft slowly and carefully to check your spelling, grammar, and punctuation. If you have used sources, proofread your citations and works cited or reference list. If you find errors, do you see a pattern? Enter any errors into your personal editing log or use the space below, being sure to record the rules needed to correct the errors. Make sure you understand the rules for quoting, summarizing, paraphrasing, and citing sources. (See sections MLA-2, APA-2, and CMS-2.)

Click Save to save your work and return to it. Click Submit to record your activity in your instructor’s gradebook. You can also review your response in the gradebook at any time.
