Reviews of books and other media appear in a variety of periodicals. Follow the appropriate model for the periodical.

Give the author and title of the review, if any. If there is no author, begin with the title.

In brackets following the title, give the words “Review of” followed by the type of work reviewed and the title of the work. Give the author for a book or the year for a motion picture.

If the review has no author or title, use the material in brackets as the title.

For a film review, write “Review of the motion picture,” and for a TV review, write “Review of the television program.” Treat other media in a similar way.
