Apostrophe for joint possession

To show joint possession of two nouns, use -’s (or -s’) with the last noun only; to show individual possession, make all nouns possessive.

Example sentence: Have you seen Joyce and Greg's new camper?

Example sentence: The man's and the woman's expectations of marriage couldn't have been more different.

Joyce and Greg jointly own one camper. The man and the woman individually have different expectations.
