Explain

  • Cite as you would an article in a publication, giving the writer’s name and the title of the letter, if it has one.
  • Continue with publication information for the journal, magazine, or newspaper where the letter appears.
  • Add the label “Letter” at the end of the entry (and before any database information).
  • When a URL must be divided at the end of a line, break it before a period or a hyphen or after any other mark of punctuation. Do not insert a hyphen at the end of the line.
