Explain

Give as much of the following information as is available:

  • the author’s name
  • the article title, in quotation marks
  • the newspaper title, italicized
  • date of publication (day, month, year, abbreviating the names of the months except May, June, and July)
  • page number(s) of article, if any
  • name of database, italicized
  • DOI or permalink, if available; otherwise, shortened URL of database

NOTE 1: When a URL must be divided at the end of a line, break it only after a slash or a double slash or before any other mark of punctuation. Do not insert a hyphen at the end of the line.

NOTE 2: Use the label “Editorial," when appropriate, between publication information for the article and database information.
