Shortcuts to avoid in online classes

All capital letters

Some people try to save time and eliminate typos by writing with the caps lock key engaged. However, using all capital letters can make your writing appear angry or offensive, and some people find text in all capitals hard to read.

All lowercase letters

Texting language

Omitted punctuation

Sentences that lack punctuation are difficult to understand. Even if your punctuation isn’t perfect, you should at least attempt to use standard conventions.
