Explain

For most articles, include the following elements:

  • author's name
  • title of article, in quotation marks
  • journal title, italicized
  • volume and issue numbers ("vol." and "no." abbreviated)
  • date of publication (including the month or season, if any)
  • page number(s) of article
  • For an article appearing on consecutive pages, provide the range of pages: 10-15; 156-60; 395-406.
  • When an article does not appear on consecutive pages, give the number of the first page followed by a plus sign: 32+.
