Explain

  • Begin with the author of the entry, if there is one, followed by the title of the entry in quotation marks.
  • If there is no author, begin with the title of the entry.
  • Then list the title of the reference work, the date of posting, and the URL.

NOTE: When a URL must be divided at the end of a line, break it only after a slash or a double slash or before any other mark of punctuation. Do not insert a hyphen at the end of the line.
